How to get hammer?
how do i get hammer, the level editor?

Click on your games library at the top of the main steam window.
There is a little pull-down menu that includes "All Games" and "Tools". Flip over to the tools list.
Find and install "Source SDK". The hammer map editor is just one of the item choices.

I have a mac and it says it's not available unless it's the 2006 version. Can anyone explain this, please?
