Steam chat...help
Can someone please tell me how you chat with other players during a game? when i play l4d, i see on the left side of the screen a player's username followed by a statement when they say something....i have no idea how to repond while playing the game...please help!!!

what is the difference between the team chat and talk to everyone?

Team and voice wouldn't make a difference unless you're playing Versus mode and you want to tell the other team something.
