Mature 2D games
I'm a very specific gamer.
I'm looking for games with all these features:
2D.
Mature (designed for adults, difficult, without children elements).
Made in the West (America and Europe), not Japan.
Modern (minimum 2010).
No Ubisoft (the racist hatred of their games).

Capsized and cavestory may not be "adult" but they are very fun, and they definatly get difficult. Other then that I pretty much just second what Skarkey said.
