help . i cant go offline

i know this has been asked many times and many forum pages have went up about it but when I try to go offline I get
" offline mode is unavailable because there is no login details stored on this computer"
I have went through all of the forums and tried everything that was suggested but of no avail . please help , I have a 17 hour flight coming up and need my games to keep sane

have tried everything . Its a new laptop im using , I validated the computer , installed steam freshly 3 times . deleted the blob file , made sure the box wasn't ticked on account sellings , made sure to press remember me when logging in , plus about 10 hours of tinkering and trying things that people on forums suggested , please help

oh and by the way theres no winui. file in my steam apps folder

Estoy en lo mismo, intente de todo y nada, a algunos nos esta pasando lo mismo, sinceramente ya no sé que hacer.

Steam main window > View > Settings
[ACCOUNT] tab
That checkbox that says "Don't save account credentials on this computer" should probably be unchecked.
Beyond that make sure you set all installed games to not update automatically. Not sure if that helps, I've heard of it checking for updates anyway.

Absolutely not, like all the other "fixes" provided.

I've had the exact same problem as you and I've tried every damn "fix" out there, that I know of. This is very fustrating since I'm Navy and currently deployed and for the most part never have internet access. I tried the reinstall and therefore lost of my games. When I had the chance I downloaded a few of them again and tried, endlessly, to fix this offline annoyance. I don't have very much time until I'm out of range of internet again and I can play none of the many games I've purchased through Steam. We need a fix, Steam! and we need it now!
