Trade lock
Someone help me, I can't redeem a skin I got on a box opening site because it says I can't receive exchange, I can't send it either, I changed my password recently, but it's been 7 days, what else can it be?

You recently changed your profile name. Wait up to 6 hours to be eligible again. It's an undocumented protection against account impersonation bots trying to redirect trades. Changing your name again will refresh this cooldown.


That said, stop using third party gambling and trading sites. They will eventually scam you.

all 3rd party sites are USE AT OWN RISK. and the risk is your account being stolen or worse. if you dont care about the security of your account, dont come back later whining when the really bad stuff starts to happen to it.

anything gets stolen from the account, you are on your own, support does not restore stolen items or money.

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
