aye because yt is checking the idend of your valve browser ..
and it's been shown as an too old and vulnerable browser ( cef 126 and valve, and an old customer that ditched google stats - ga5 ) ...
launch a game, call overlay while playing and select internet , it will launch the steam browser.
copy past this on the adress bar
https://browserleaks.com/ip
and on the page shown, go down to user-agent and you will get your answer why google is doing that ...
i wish valve would add a user-agent value setup override like -useragtovr "xxxxxxxx" from a list that can be updated from time to time trought beta , but , yeah , nothing like that .., till/even now
eg :
-useragtovr 1 ( for the last mozilla firefox 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0' for my esr ff ), 2 for chrome ♥♥♥♥ ,3 for xxx
aye i am not using linux but i override this value to be able to download w10 dvd ♥♥♥♥ when needed)
