Impersonator scamming my friends?
Hi, I have had someone impersonating me for a few weeks now. I have submitted reports, steam tickets, and had friends report, and sadly some of them got scammed. This person has not been banned even though I've shown steam support evidence of scamming and trade theft, as well as turning off 2fa from just a link click (as one of my friends told me.) They refuse to do anything and I even have my friends set to private, I don't know how they keep finding them. Any advice???

Keep reporting until Steam Support decides to do some about it.

Otherwise, maybe contact your friends and let them know to be cautious with anyone reaching out to them that might appear to be you.
Sounds like you may have ticked someone off at some point which is causing them to do that. People don't tend to do stuff like that out of the blue.

Are you messaging them at all? If you are, I highly recommend you stop because you're giving them the attention they crave.

All you can do is report, block, and move on. Steam will take action at some point but if you're sending anything bad, Steam could take action against you as well.

Tell your friends not to accept requests from unknown accounts? That's it. Even if an irl friend tell me to click a link, I'll think twice (and I won't even do it for obvious reasons) :cfacepalm:
