Considering it can be used in-game to show very offensive terms, I would say yes that name is inappropriate. No, Steam does not hate religious figures and you know that.

Also, Steam does not have to ask you. Everyone has agreed to their policies and if a user violates them, Steam has every right to take action against the user.

Valve doesn't need to ask you for permission to do whatever it wants to your profile. It is, after all, their platform.

I have seen ppl call skyrim the game rasist game, i mean how can you not make a game with each race and there issue with whatever faction it has, its ment to have this or lore will be we all sit down and hold hands, and go home.

And i thought games was for all in a fictive world, i guess someone is actual not welcome in gaming world.

You cant have games with war and whatever side you have to fight on, i mean whats wrong with ppl here. ( i mean take from babolon 5 Purple vs Green, ( yes sounds stupid ) and i do not dare to say it happends already in your own country with ppl from 2 teams, )
