Secure your account and stop giving away your credentials to scam sites or playing on unsafe devices:-

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/

2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.

3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.

5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

6. Revoke the API key https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

There is no problem with Steam. Chances are your account was already compromised for a very long time where changing password and a fresh install wont make any difference because scammers already had access.

READ then READ post 1 again, again and again. People can sit in an account for a year. How often do you enter your username, password and Steam guard code when you load Steam? Anyone that has compromised the account just ticks the stay logged in option when they get in and never logout.

The ONLY way to kick them out is to do step 3 in post #1

Once they got in they can staay in the account for years. They don't have to do anything to let you know they are sitting in the account. They just wait till when ever then do ♥♥♥♥. DO EVERYTHING in post #1 to secure the account

As for the QR code thats how you logged in doesn't means thats how someone else got in. They could have got in if you used a dodgy site or maybe a piece of malware stole the login token meaning they didn't need anything else

Hi guys, I buy stim accounts a lot. Just like I bought this one, it has 200 dollars worth of cs2 skins and cost me 3 dollars. Often when I buy accounts I find that Steam Guard is active on them, and the method I use to access them is an .exe file that enters the code automatically in 1 second. Most likely there is some kind of exploit or something similar. One account holder was online with me at the same time for a week until I wrote to him about it myself, advising him to take out the skins and change passwords and all that.
