Deck OLED – GLS Tracking Dead, ParcelForce Not Activated
Ordered a Steam Deck OLED on 10 Sep. GLS marked it as dispatched on 13 Sep, but tracking has stalled since. GLS now shows “no results” for the parcel number, and ParcelForce tracking hasn’t activated either — despite ParcelsApp confirming the handoff.

It’s been 5 days with no UK scan, no delivery estimate, and no transparency. GLS support is unresponsive, and Steam hasn’t provided any update. this kind of logistics breakdown is unacceptable.

Anyone else ever been stuck in the same limbo? If Valve or Steam support sees this, please escalate — I need confirmation the parcel isn’t lost and a revised delivery window.

That will permanently ban your payment method from use on Steam and lock your account for fraud.

What if hardware is included in the disputed transaction?

If a hardware purchase is disputed, your account is automatically restricted. You can remove the restriction by reversing the dispute with your bank or returning the associated hardware. Contact Steam Support for additional guidance.

If you are not satisfied with your Valve Hardware purchase, you can pursue a refund or request product service. You can learn more about this process here .

It does take time for ParcelForce to have the tracking information after hand off.

Don't take any serious actions and wait for at least the 19th before you contact Steam support.

Gls tracking said in transit then this morning it said it didn’t exist parcelforce said we are expecting it so where is it ? Messaged steam ages ago there ignoring me

It hasn't even been a full week since the purchase yet. It can take around a week for delivery.

I've had FedEx and standard US Postal Service do this many times.

It can be irritating, yes but keep an eye on it.

Steam, well Valve, actually, is in the same boat you're in. They shipped merchandise to a customer and they expect it to be delivered. It's not Valve's fault that tracking isn't updated accordingly. Sometimes you have to work within the imperfect systems for resolution.

They could have better couriers they shouldn’t take money if they cannot deliver goods

I know what your saying it’s not the fact I have too wait it’s the fact the tracking was working and now it’s saying it doesn’t exist and there is no channels too contact anyone can’t find a number for gls parcelforce I can’t get through too and valve answering my messages either I’m not bothered when it comes but I want too know it’s actually coming

Royal Mail tracking sucks, even the tracking on Special Delivery fails sometimes. Parcel Force aren't going to be any better. Steam probably should communicate better with you but they probably don't know much more than you do at this moment in time.

I bought some stuff from the LTT store and it was stuck in customs for ages because Parcel Force didn't bother to post a card through my door for a full week, and the package was in Manchester at that point too. that's how slow they are. lol
