Hi everyone

I’m having an issue with the Steam browser. Whenever I try to use Google search inside Steam, it takes ages to load and sometimes even prompts me with a CAPTCHA. I’ve tried:

Clearing the Steam browser cache and cookies

Reinstalling Steam

Disabling GPU accelerated rendering and compositing

Restarting Steam

…but nothing seems to fix it.

Is anyone else experiencing slow Google searches in the Steam browser? It does speed up after a while, I assume it is because of captcha since it detects it and it takes a while to speed up (just a guess). Opening other websites loads instantly like youtube, but google search can take up to 15 seconds or so to load something I have searched for. If anyone has any idea what to do to fix this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
