I know that Steam doesn’t count hours when you're offline, but sometimes it gets a bit weird. For example, I have nearly 80 hours in a "game" called Coconut Simulator, but to earn the platinum trophy, I need to play for 100 hours. It’s strange because I went offline once due to technical issues, and now it feels like I’ve used an achievement unlocker.

So, to make sure my hours count, do I need to be online when I open the game, when I close it, or both? Just trying to figure this out for future games.
