I have logged on today to continue playing Silksong, but upon booting the game my controller does not work (Xbox series x/s controller connected via bluetooth). I tried another Steam game same issue. Steam recognises the controller and in the test mode it recognises the input, it also works in big picture mode to navigate. I have also tried non steam games and it works fine (I have game pass and tried a game via that).

I have restarted my computer, cleared cache in steam, reinstalled steam, updated nvidia drivers, checked for updates to my bluetooth drivers for the controller. The controller is working, but not when something is launched via steam.

I have also noticed some performance degredation with Steam today also. When the app is closed and I click to open it, it takes longer than it used to, to even start showing it is loading or that it is opening. Also the games themselves took much longer to boot and even quit (silksong freezes on the screen giving the option to quit, before closing after a few seconds, it never used to do that). Balatro even just flat out crashed upon opening. I've never had issues before, don't see any comparable differences with other apps/games, and wondering if something has changed that could be causing both issues?
