gift card disappeared
friend sent me a steam gift card for my birthday last week and i was going to redeem it today. when i first clicked accept, signed in and all that, it said the gift cannot be redeemed now please wait for a few minutes. i tried again same error. but i waited a few minutes and now i clicked on the email accept link again the gift just straight up disappeared and doesnt even show up in my inventory. im pretty sure its not like i accepted it since my balance had 0 increase in funds. please help i dont want my friend to waste his money like this

It must've timed out. That's the only logical answer. I didn't know that could happen. Although it's possible your friend may have scammed you

i doubt they'd scam me but do you think it could also be due to my region cus my store is set in hong kong and the gift card is from the uk
