Holding Xbox Guide Button opens Task View menu
With the new Windows 11 update, everytime i try to use Steam hottkey combinations with Guide button held down, the Tasl View menu appears and minimizes my game, as if I press Win+Tab. It's really annoying..

Even if I completely turn off Steam, holding down the guide button continues to open this menu. So the problem is not with Steam but with Windows.

Has anyone managed to solve this problem yet?

Same issues I looked online and people said it's a future that sometimes comes and goes but it's the first time for me
I normally turn my Xbox controller by holding Guide Button down for a few seconds, but this brings up the stupid Task View.

And in typical Microsoft fashion, they force is onto users PC without thinking or warning, they offer no options to change it back or disable this BS, and while you can sill hold down to turn if off the darned thing STILL BRINGS UP TASK VIEW! :hermesangry:

Yeah, this really makes me confident that shoehorning Windows 11 OS into working on PC gaming handhelds is really going to work out for them....:bsod:

You can get rid of this by disabling the GameInput Service (GameInputSvc), as long as you don't need any functions it offers.

Unfortunately that fix doesn't allow the use of steam input. Hopefully Valve is aware of this and changes the settings. Besides how cool would it be to have the option to toggle the controls instead of having to hold the X button
