A way to prevent workshop items from downloading

Good day.

I have an issue with items for Blade Symphony. Since items are uploaded via my account and therefore tied to it, they keep redownloading and take quite a lot of RAM in game.

Here is a list of methods that have already been tried:

deleting item files from workshop_temp — no result, they download again;
subscription and unsubscription — no result;
subscription and managing which items to use in game properties — no result;
complete deletion from the workshop — although helped to some extent, remaining items are too nice to delete;
creation of a new account — not considered at this moment.

Let me know what else to try.

Are you telling us here that game devs has intergrated workshop item as part of game devs files, im not sure they are allowed to do that, mixing user content as part of original game, they can do a choise in work shop and tell you they have a map pack that not same as force it as DL.

And also a issue later then ppl cant say NO, see i mean yes this is a problem if you cant say i dont want workshop item ever again. ( report it to steam, i doubt they will allow a force workshop DL , whats next ll game devs dump data at workshop as needed files or game will not work. ( dont think steam will like this missuse of a user contented made area. )
