Steam stuck loading, can't log in
Steam on my PC has run into an issue where it won't let me login after putting in my username and password, so it just keeps loading. It works completely fine on my laptop still, I've reinstalled it and restarted my computer multiple times as well as checked for any anti-virus or firewall getting in the way, my time and date is set correctly and I've tried many other things to fix this that people have posted but still can't fix it, is there something I'm missing?

Delete the steam cache. You can search how to do it for your particular OS (not mentioned).

at first the problem was that I was stuck in offline mode so I did that to fix the issue, but all it did was log me out so now I'm stuck trying to log in, doing it again doesn't help though I've tried
Can you log into steam from a web page? (not the client)
i got the same problem.
log in on browser works fine but not on the client side, i have tried everything.
deleting cache, reinstall steam and even windows bot stil got this endless login.
tried even to log in in offline mode and that does not work...
steam refuses to let med log in to offline mode
you sure you not have a anti-virus, firewall that block the access. or try to connect you pc to the phone internet. just to check not you provider has blocked access.

happend to me they blocked it, after they thought it was wierd amount of use of line . one phone call to provider and they could open it up again.

But mostly it is a anti-virus or somethign that blocking the access for steam to complete the login .

I'm 100% sure its none of those, also using a mobile hotspot doesn't fix it either

Left it for a couple days now and steam had an update that fixed itself, I genuinely have no idea what the problem was but I guess my problems solved now 👍
