I’ve been playing CS since Covid and reached ~17k in CS2 Season 1 and lvl 7 on Faceit. Now with the new season reset, after the 10 placement matches I ended up with ~10k (bad luck with some rough games). I thought I’d climb back fast since I was averaging 30 frags per game at the start, but then I suddenly started facing cheaters almost every match (both on my team and the enemy’s).

Recently, a friend told me he got a notification that he was playing with a “low trust factor” teammate (me), which might explain why I keep getting matched with cheaters. I read that being active on Steam (posts, community, etc.) could help improve trust factor — hence this post.

Any tips on how to increase trust factor? Or should I just focus on Faceit instead?
