Controller Connection Acting Strange
Over the past two/three days I've been wanting to play some games using a Switch Pro controller that I used to use on Steam a while back. It used to work all the time, connected to bluetooth, fully operational.
Then just recently I went to play Yakuza 0, but Steam wouldn't recognize my controller, nothing was being detected. So I opened the game to try and see, and the controller was working but nothing seemed to be mapped right.
I exited the game, and have tried numerous things to make my controller get connected to Steam, but nothing has worked.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Steam. I've uninstalled the device and it's drivers and reinstalled them. I've calibrated it, updated my laptop, and even tried a wired connection. Nothing has been able to make my controller show up on Steam.
If there is anything I can try to do, help would be really appreciated. I just can't wrap my head around why this controller that used to work, won't anymore.

your switch pro controller isn’t being recognized by steam anymore. try checking the steam big picture mode settings and make sure switch pro configuration support is enabled. also, make sure your bluetooth drivers are up-to-date, as outdated drivers can cause connection issues. if you’re not using steam beta, try switching to it, as it often fixes controller issues. you could also test the controller on another pc to see if the issue is with steam or your laptop. try resetting the controller by holding the small button on the back for 5 seconds. if nothing works, you could use third-party software like ds4windows to map the controller.
