Why Kbps downloads when I have Gbps fiber?
I mean... I was hovering around 7.8-12.3 Kbps (slower than my 1990's dial-up) when I have a 1 Gbps fiber connection.
Fast.com showed a 1.15 Gbps download speed when I paused to see if was my ISP
, so wtf?

Checked, and it is the nearest city with a population of over 1M. I have been using steam since around 2005 or 2008....

2009.
Correct: 2009. Left 4 Dead was my first steam purchase. I had to dig back and check.
The issue ended up being an ISP ♥♥♥♥ up... prioritizing optics: (fast.com gets priority),
over actual performance (I want to actually use the net....)

Y respetuosamente, cabron, no me jodas demasiado. Soy un hombre mayor que jugó al pong en los años 70, así que por favor no me molestes si me fui un año o dos cuando me registré en Steam.
