steam service error
I had tried to disable windows services on win 10 for better performance, it stated using windows + R buttons to run msconfig.exe to select the services tab and disable all Microsoft services and then restart computer. after I did this, I started getting the steam service error and could not get steam to work. so, I went back to services tab and enabled all Microsoft services again and restarted computer and steam was working again.

Duh. This is why you shouldn't screw around with stuff you don't understand.

That’s expected steam needs certain microsoft services like windows installer, background intelligent transfer service, and windows update to run properly. When you disabled all microsoft services, steam couldn’t start its background service, causing the error. Re enabling those services fixed it. If you still want better performance, disable non-microsoft startup apps instead use task manager - startup, not system services.

bro, he’s just a person who wanted to play a game, but because of his little experience, he made a mistake, not taking it too seriously.

Which does not invalidate the observation...

Yes... Steam requires Microsoft services, as does much of what you run on your system.
