Steam library glitch?

So i just found out that i was having split fiction. As i entered the store page it showed i already have the game in steam library even though i didnt purchased it. In the help section i found out it was given to me through a friend pass. Yet i was having the full game in the library. Should i download it to check if its a friend pass? Steam do something about the problem and someone please help me. Waiting for response. I hope i dont get banned because its steam mistake. And ya I won't install it.(I don't like free things)

This isn't a problem. You didn't buy it, you don't have the full version. You got a friend's pass version. You won't get banned either. Stop panicking, stop overthinking.

I got that it's a friend pass but the problem is I am having the full version in the steam library 😅. I consulted others who have a friend pass and they don't have the full game on the library.

Are you positively sure it is the full version? You gotta check! Start that alleged "full version" and see if you can actually start a game yourself, without anyone else.

Should I download it???? What if steam think that I pirated it? I wanna be extra precautios about my account.
