How to set "show total number of GLOBAL reviews" as default option?
I noticed the latest Digimon game only had around 200 reviews here on Steam and was like "no way that game is so unpopular with all the videos being made about it!"

Turns out Steam only showed me the total number of German reviews at the top of the game's store page. I had to disable my language down at the review section, refreshed the page and now I see how many reviews the game really has. But as soon as I click on another game I haven't manually removed my native language from yet, I once again can't see the total amount of reviews. This makes me think all these games are increcibly unpopular.

So my question, as I don't wan't to repeat this step for every single game I'm interested in - how do I change it so I can see the REAL total amount of reviews globally, not just the reviews in my native language? I want to see them without taking extra steps.

Thanks, I tried this option but it didn't do anything. On the top right corner, I still only saw "Latest (German) reviews" and "Total (German) reviews".

But I eventually found a messy workaround - but it's really odd. I had to blue-check every single language at the language settings, and I mean every language. My desktop web browser where I'm not logged in shows me the wrong numbers, but at least they are now right in the steam client.

This is super weird. Was there a recent update that messed these options up? I can't remember having run into this issue prior to today.

Try to change settings in account preferences and then restart Steam. Wouldn't be terribly surprised, if that's what is needed.
