blue screen when downloading games
my wife recently installed a third storage drive (main one ssd and two hhd) when downloading games on steam the pc crashes with blue screen and requires to be reset. we have tried downloading the game on one of the other drives and it still crashes. any tips? no known issues with the new drive that was added it came from a previous pc we had

Did you try googling the error code given when you bsod? That might point you in the right direction of what is causing the problem.

This problem likely stems from a failing power supply struggling with the additional load from the new drive, a bad RAM stick causing data errors during the download process, or a driver conflict initiated by the new hardware. To troubleshoot, disconnect the new drive to see if the issue stops, clear Steam's download cache, run the Windows Memory Diagnostic and sfc /scannow command, or check the Event Viewer for specific error codes related to the crash.

check SSD brand board support, what if there is a firmware update to SSD , could be a good idea while its empty, if device dont have data from past system.
