[Market & Trade Blocked for 2 Weeks] Persistent “Too Many Requests” Error – No Extensions, No VPN, No Solution
Hello everyone,

I’ve been completely unable to access the Community Market, my Inventory, or any trade-related features on my account for over two weeks now.

The error I receive is always:
“You’ve made too many requests recently.”

I’ve already:
- Waited multiple times over 24 hours without touching the Market or Inventory
- Used different IP addresses and devices (PC and mobile)
- Cleared all cache, cookies, and Steam webcache multiple times
- Ensured I have NO VPN or proxy
- Removed all browser extensions (in fact, I didn’t have any)
- Tried both browser and Steam client

I contacted Steam Support three times, but they just keep giving the same automated answer and closing the ticket without escalation. This is clearly NOT a normal temporary rate limit — it’s stuck for more than 2 weeks now and I can’t buy or sell anything.

I would really appreciate it if a moderator or technical staff could escalate this issue.
I can provide screenshots if needed.

Thank you.

same bro, this issue so annoying, i tried to buy remaining trading card but always error and my inventory too.
The "Too many requests" error in the Steam community is likely caused by your internet provider using CGNAT technology, where multiple users share a single public IP address. If others sharing this address misuse the Steam market or use bots, it can lead to blocks for everyone on that IP. To resolve this, contact your internet provider to request a dedicated public IP address. You can find more information on troubleshooting this issue.
i got the same issue but mine is i cant even open market or inventory, tried everything but still same meanwhile my friend in same country and state worked fine his account. mine work well before, but after they release the UI updates changes, all these problems appears and not fixed
