Game downloading as a 0 GB file with nothing in it.
Hey, recently I bought WWE 2k25 and upon (attempting) to download it, it downloads nothing but a 0gb file with nothing in it as the title says. I paid a good amount for this game, so I'd really like to be able to actually download & play it.
I tried clearing my download cache, changing my download server, and going into the steam client beta as others have suggested. and nothing has worked yet. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how is it fixable?
I see other people including my friends downloading it just fine.:steamsad:

It seems Steam can't properly start downloading WWE 2k25, even though other players are fine. Since you've already tried clearing the cache, changing servers, and the beta client, try restarting Steam and your computer this sometimes helps. Also, check that you have enough disk space, as Steam may not be able to download the game without free space. If this doesn't help, try reinstalling Steam (remember to save your game files) or contacting Steam support again with more detailed information.

As a side note, if everyday functionality doesn't work (and downloading games is the main thing that Steam does...), do NOT enable the beta client. That will never improve anything, and merely adds a chance that more features are broken because something is, well, "beta".

The beta client is for people wanting to get an early peek at some changes, while not being concerned about stability or things working. Your post suggests you are concerned about things working.
