It seems like you've already tried all the usual fixes recommended by the community, but none of them have worked. The issues with posting reviews, updating settings, and managing game lists suggest a deeper problem with Steam’s curator system. Could this be related to broader changes they’ve made to the platform recently? It would be nice if Steam acknowledged the issue and gave curators an update on when it might be fixed.
The fact that games you’ve declined are stuck in the pending list is especially odd. It feels like there’s a bug in their system that they haven’t ironed out yet, and it’s causing a lot of inconvenience.
And the timing with Halloween is just the cherry on top. This could have been the perfect opportunity to engage with your audience, share spooky game recommendations, and so on but instead, your curator page is acting like it’s haunted by glitches.
I really hope Steam addresses these problems soon for you and all other curators affected. If you get any updates from support or the community, feel free to let me know. I'd love to hear how it goes.
I appreciate you for taking the time to check this out, and for offering your sympathies...! It helps more than you might think. And to think, this Steam curator could have been my sole focus and purpose in life, which would have been more soul crushing! Fortunately, it is not.
Also, I agree, something is seriously fudged up here and it is baffling why Steam isn't especially interested in addressing this when it can only serve to benefit them in making more money and bring in traction to the developers. Win-win-win!
(Granted, I am a guppy curator in a sea of especially influential sharks, but still. I bet the whales aren't having any issues there. Just sayin')
And absolutely, you'll be the first to know. Thanks again, and I bid you good day~
Yaaassss, work it Valve! Serve us face card or give us nothing...!
You have MY support! Rage against the corporate machine!!
It's how things get done apparently these days, gotta play the game-!
Surely curator pages help their sales.
What gives?
That user just copy / pasted your post into an Ai and then posted the AI response here. I doubt they read your post at all.
Their comment is 100% Ai, not written by human. Please don’t give awards to people who are using Ai to respond
Precisely my sentiment...! Glad you agree, maybe they are secretly doing a cleanse of sorts?
Get rid of the smaller curators? So far, I don't think any big name curators with loads of traction have been affected. HMMM.
It is terrible... Like a vigilante for Steam curators is out there- digitally shutting down each one.
I hope it doesn't happen to any more of us. SIGHS!
You're right, I can see it right now. The neutral and reassuring manner in which it was formulated...!
Apologies, I was quite a mess last night and emotionally fatigued. Won't happen again!
At least it is better than the artificial stupid bots of Valve's support.
