Can't play game - Missing game executable
Just got steam to play an old game from my childhood on my M1 Macbook, but its not opening for me.

I get the error "Missing game esecutable-/Users/(my name)/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Ignition/DOSBox/dosbox.app/Contents/MacO".

My cousin tested it out on his M1 Macbook and its working fine for him. What do i have to do for it to work?

Make sure that your antivirus didn't do a false positive and put the games exe into quarantine.

If you got a faulty install somehow, repair it by rightclicking the game in your library - properties - installed data - check for mistakes
Ask game devs or steam mac own forum

You need a mac expert why you cant play the game.

they abouve user is corrent then its a MS OS, but if you are a mac users get help from mac users.

Do what he did, and look for what's different on your system compared to his. It's probably some small detail, or something you dismissed because "that shouldn't matter", sometimes that's an user error.
