Im being banned for something that I didn't do!!!!!

Im in such an unfair situation, someone called bert bert accidently reported me because he was being Scammed from the Steam market for an Item that was sold to him in that he did receive get he then reported me by accident because my profile picture was similler to the scammer he informed me of this , I then reported to someone that was steam admin he then told me to log in and out again to prove that it is my account. I did not login all day because i was busy and i forgotten my password. I contacted the steam support Howard Chung to inform him of the situation, he told me to logoff and login again. I forgot my password so i had to change it didn't login for 24 hrs but changed my password and my profile picture so that it looks different. Now i got a message from Bert Bert telling me that im going to get band for something i didn't even do!!!!!!!

It's a scam. Ignore the scammer. Do not comply. Do not follow their instructions. Do not talk to whom they refer you to. Any thing you're shown to "prove" who they are is just an easily created prop to frighten you, and could be created trivially. Support will never talk to you through chat. Valve doesn't blindly trust reports or mass reports, you would have actually had done the things claimed for Valve to act in any way. Keep in mind as the owner and administrator of Steam, Valve can see everything your account does, so those checks are trivial. Bogus reports go in the trash. And since this is a scam, there is no report anyway.

Valve is not going to warn you that you're going to be banned. And give you time and advise you how to avoid the consequence. It's a tactic to frighten you into trading your items away to a scammer. But it works on the unexpecting because fear is a powerful motivator.
