Cant trade on steam…
Hello Steam Support,
I am writing to you because I have a persistent issue that prevents me from trading any of my Counter-Strike 2 items.
When I try to create a trade offer with a friend to test this, I receive the specific error message:
"You are not allowed to add your Counter-Strike 2 Inventory items to trades. You may still receive items offered by friends."
This issue seems to be related to a temporary in-game (griefing) ban in CS2 that I received, which lasted for one week. This game ban has now expired, and I can play the game normally, but this specific trade restriction remains.
This restriction also causes all transactions on third-party trading sites (like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.com or skinsback.com) to fail instantly with a "Transaction error" or "exchange offer canceled."
What is most confusing is that when I check the official Steam Support "Why can't I trade?" page (https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWhyCantITrade), it states that my account is fully capable of trading and has no restrictions.
To confirm, I have already checked all standard solutions, and they are not the problem:
1. My Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator has been active for over a year.
2. My inventory is set to "Public".
3. I have checked my Steam Web API Key page, and I have no API key generated.
4. My game ban is confirmed to be expired.
It appears there is a persistent, CS2-specific trade restriction on my account that did not correctly expire along with my game ban. Could you please investigate and remove this "You are not allowed to add" restriction so I can trade my CS2 items again?
Thank you for your time.

This is a user forum, support doesnt read/post here. Try asking steam support directly by sending in a help ticket.
I try to write on support, but it's taking a long time, so I'm trying to see if someone from the community can help me with this.
Temporary in game cooldowns do not restrict you from trading.

:nkCool:
So where is the problem ? Why cant i ?
