Steam starts with my friends status as 'Offline'
Not to be confused with the 'Offline Mode' that you can select from the 'Steam' option at the top row, whenever I boot up my computer and let Steam starts automatically, I would appear as 'Offline' in Steam Friends & Chat, and I have to turn myself 'Online' manually everytime.

Click on the Steam logo on the top right and select "Activate online mode" or whatever is called. Restart the app and check if work.

I'm sorry, I don't follow your instruction. Are you on about the 'Steam' at the top LEFT with the steam logo on it?

If that's what you're on about, I already mentioned that it's not the case of turning off Offline Mode.
