User Denied when starting game.
As the title says. When opening a specific game (UmaMusume), Steam won't open it, instead saying "Startup failed: User Denied.(0x5)".

All my other games start up and work fine, I've restarted my computer, checked the files, deleted and re-downloaded the game, etc.

The game worked fine before, and the only possible idea i could have is that yesterday, I downloaded UmaMusume on my other laptop, using the same steam account. I tried to log out of that account, but it didn't help either. I don't have any Steam extensions, no VPNs, nothing like that.

Is my horse game cooked?

Ask game own Forum, might be a good idea.

also make sure you actual have or read the

Eula and Thirdpart app that is require.

Uses Kernel Level Anti-Cheat
CrackProof®
Requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA
Umamusume: Pretty Derby EULA

if you PC do not have this, i dont think game will startup.

Same goes with Anti virus app, make sure steam.exe and game own .exe is on exception rules list by your AV app , some games even need folder access for the app so it can use games files and configuration files in windows document.

I think you might be right, but the problem is that since i cant launch the game, i cant accept it. clicking the link to the Eula from steam only lets you read it, not accept it. ive accepted it before though, when the game still launched regularly

i only notice the User Denied.(0x5) that sounds like game devs bock you or you do not accpet them thirdpart app use or you block i9t yourself, i cant see age issue here.

somehow game throght atht code at you, and im sure you graphic driver is installed and other things like that, most do not even dare suggest, because ofc it is. ( its like you dont meet game requirement even that is crazy, but thats is how such game will use a code.

i have seen windown N OS user, some forget they need to i nstall thirdpart app themself, even that seem crazy then you tride on 2 pc, unless you have such on 2 pc.

as you see you get more and more crazy topic with what if you have this or that.

ask game devs support or steam game forum maybe other knwo better what cause this.
