Report a translation problem
The default is store page at start up for example.
I need to write protect the file i am seraching to get this annoying "feature" to stop.
Because its maybe convenient in edge cases to download a setting, this causes me to have to make the settings each time.
This makes no sense.
Next time you start steam, interface and friendlist and chat are default settings on your pc.
I do not use Geforce Now so that would point to something linked to it.
Most local settings should be in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<staemid>\
I am not losing my settings because i do not use Geforce Now. Everything is as before when i boot Steam, therefore it points to something to do with Geforce Now and why you suggested.
Here is clearly an unwanted behaviour of steam.
