I’m having an issue with my profile showcase (avg game completion %). I have 100% on every game in my 128 game catalogue except for Uno, yet my avg game completion % is at 96%. I’ve checked for hidden games… removed all games with “Profile Features Limited” which in some cases messes with your achievement showcases on your profile. I’ve waited days to see if it was an issue with Steam syncing. I even opened the Steam console and imputed commands that remove or reset Steam stats on whatever game I wanted (It kept saying failed even when imputed correctly in many different ways).

From what I currently know, I have tried everything I can to get the avg game completion I deserve however Steam has other ideas. I have created a complete spreadsheet of the games I have ever bought, refunded and or removed from my account. I fear my only option is to contact a Steam team member to see if removing my data from these games is a possibility from their end.

If ANYONE has a clue or insight I’ve missed as to why i'm not able to fix my completion ratio, please let me know! <3 thanks.

Looking at your profile your average completion rate is 97% not 96%.

They cannot remove data.

They are able to remove data I know that for sure but for you it says 97% completion and for me it only says 96% and I have no privated games or hidden games... make it make sense

Steam can do anything, sure. But, it's not their "job" to manipulate your profile data so you like it more, which in turn means their support frontend doesn't offer it and their support staff can't do it.

I do agree that this is in no way an emergency or priority by any means but it's not like i'm demanding this to be done? This is a discussion and also steam support is... support? no? No matter the issue, it should be looked at and at least given an attempt at solving.

If you unlock even 1 achievement in a game it counts in the total. Removing games etc.. has no affect on this. Removing all achievements from a game once unlocked counts as 0% completed.

I read somewhere even demo achievements count.

If any of those refunded or removed games had any achievements unlocked, they still count towards your completion percentage. Your play time stats remain regardless if that title is still in your library or not.

Earning one achievement from a game you refunded or removed still counts as it is data related to the activity on your account, in the same way playtime still counts if you decide to repurchase a game. The time previously played counts towards the refund limit.

Secondly i see 109 perfect games yet in the opening post you wrote.

Yeah hence why its annoying... Im given a different percentage to everyone else... its so odd

Try a steam flush cmd, ( google how to do. )

i dont want to explan all them things that can cause this. but you make a mistake and think pc is 100% cant fail in anyway, alot of people can tell you diffrent.

all from BIOS to chipset drives to OC and so on , list is so long in what can go wrong.

we have even seen cpu and its driver dont do it right or ppl in the past caught CPU cant calculating right. point is as you see so many things most have no clue can happend.

look we dont want to scare you, but maybe that 0,1% is not a issue only you see it, outdate cache page or other ideas like that.

It is accurate data based on the activity on your account and everyone will see a different percentage as all unlocked achievements count including if you got only one or more than one form refunded games, removed games etc. Those unlocked achievements are not removed.

From the linked guide: Avg. Game Completion Rate is an average of all your individual games' percentages of unlocked achievements.
