I was playing my game last night, and recording and I had friends messaging me so it was heard while playing my game, I had to quit and delete my recordings and re do my previous play agan due to the notification sound in the game.

How do I silence messaging . I looked in steam notifications and couldnt see anything.
I was invisible at the time. I dont mind messaging but when I was recording it interruped my play so how do I turn off the notification sound so it doesnt interrupt my gameplay while I am recording gameplay
