Steam Family setup for child account
Hello all! I'm trying to setup a Steam Child account and have run into a few issues.

1) I don't want the child to have any access to settings whatsoever, but for some reason even after setting that condition, the child account can still access and change some settings, including what maturity of content they have access to in the store (despite the fact the store has been disabled for them).

2) I haven't been able to find a way to prevent the child from simply switching accounts to an already locally cached adult account. There doesn't seem to be a PIN feature to login to the adult account, so content restrictions are basically totally useless if more than one account has logged in on that computer.

3) I haven't been able to find a way to set the child account's profile picture, and I haven't found a way to restrict a child from setting their own (other than clicking the button in the settings they shouldn't have access to that doesn't seem to do anything).

4) I haven't found a way to set the child's profile to private in such a way that they can't go in and change it (again, because they have access to the settings when they shouldn't).

Can anyone point me in a direction that could help me resolve some of these, or am I SOL?

You set up the restrictions in your account for the child account.

You set the login to not save the account credentials to prevent account switching.

This is to accomodate for my nephew, so the frequency with which I'd need to login manually vs the frequency with which I'd need to prevent access doesn't math out to justify disabling account credentials.
