- Create an action layer in the Action Sets menu and name it something like Weapon Wheel.
- Edit that layer and assign an input group (I like to use the right stick) to control your selections in the radial menu.
- Return to the original action set, and assign a given button (let's go with triangle, since that was what I originally wanted to use) to Hold Action Set Layer.
- Select the Weapon Wheel action layer.
And now you have a radial menu that opens with the triangle button, and uses the right stick to navigate it! If you want to make another radial menu and put it on a different button, you have to make another action layer for that button to use, though you can still use the same input method to navigate it. It's also important to make it an action layer and not a separate action set, because action layers inherit inputs from their parent action sets, eliminating the need to rebind every single input.Last but certainly not least, always remember; trans liberation now and forever!
You don't bind it directly to the face buttons, because if you do Steam Input won't treat the face buttons as the thing you open it with, it'll treat it as your method of navigating the menu.
