There is one but, I normally take me from servers even those that have Windows 10 requirements, and I know this message, but Steam should share the updates of games that still work under Windows 7, in this case Fallout 76, because the manufacturer has not changed anything in the files of his game,
that it stops working on other operating systems, if it was already known, a change to Windows 10, but Fallout has minimal and recommended Windows 7

You need to update your OS, that's your problem. Until you do, you will continue to have regular issues such as this. Windows 7/8 are no longer supported by Steam and Microsoft.

it's not damaged, it's just that updates are now using a new compression scheme added with cef 123+ ( zstd ) and old steam client running on w7 is using cef 109 and so is not able to use it.
use depotdownloader or steamcmd if you want to download it and add the downloaded files to it original steam folder, ask for a new download :
- start by uninstalling the faulty game, and copy downloaded files to the original steam steam folder, ask for a new download and steam will check your files and verify them and at end of this process , say download is done and you can play

I have already managed a mistake, searched and found a nice program that can be set the EXE file on older systems to run as if it were on win10, it is called VXKEX, I downloaded update steam, and somehow downloaded normally, then I returned to the old version of the last win7 on Win7 again, and everything works now,
Because when I have with my internet, I barely get to download the whole 90 GB is 2-3 days, it's good that I had a copy made in case of what to restore after deleting the game, because then on Win7 I uninstalled the game, started downloading and downloaded normally to 200 M

Steam has added for a reason feel free to ask Game support or steam support, i and other assume this is why it might not work anymore.

I repete that why steam might have added such info to inform people

whats more odd you think, you can win in a debat over past OS, you can't, its ende for a reson.

You do know, its more easy to just report you for spaming, because there is nothing any can do about what Ms has ende its lifecyckle, and i bet now steam mght learn to not support OS past a OS deadline. you had years to actual deal with it, so YES all you do now is actual tell any steam user report any steam user for past OS issue, because you think its our job here to tell you a OS issue. ( or even better just start to put all win/8 pc users on ignore. problem solved. ( why bother see your post about nothing any can do about it.

i can't be the only steam user that now think this.

gl with past OS that is all what you have done here. teminating of all communication with past OS pc users , alot easier way to deal with you guys.
