Is this a legit group?
Some dud added me on steam and sayed that he wanted to invite me to a game. i logged in to my faceit acc and he sent me a group named KR. it had a link to a twitch account that had a banner to a faceit login page. when i logged in it sayed that i was using bots, and bcoz of it i need to send all my skins to my friend, and he has to cancel the offer and i willl pass the verification. Is this real faceit or a scam?

Scam. Report and block them. He is in the middle of a scam trying to steal all your stuff. Better off scanning your pc with malwarebytes too. They may have access to your account. Anyways, DO NOT TRADE WITH ANYONE. Also, make sure your API is empty. You probably have stuff on it.

Seriously? Some stranger invites you to a game, and then sends you on a wild goose chase across different platforms, culminating into an obvious scam. They probably hijacked your account somewhere along the way so they can redirect your trades, as a prerequisite for that last "verification" demand.

Geez... I'm not even doing multiplayer, but I seem to remember that games had that good old "start the game, go to lobby"-scheme...

You need to kick them out of your account before they do any more damage to it.

Probably all his bot accounts. Who cares? HE is scamming you. Plus it is easy to edit webpages if you know how to do it to make the info on them fake.

it is a scam.
Not only is it a scam, your account might have been compromised.

Do all the following steps to properly secure your account.

Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Change passwords from a clean computer
Revoke the API key https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey
Generate new backup codes

What they are hoping for is for you to try and trade your items to your friends account. At which point a bot logged into your accout will cancel that trade and instantly create a duplicate trade, pointed at an account using the same avatar that's on your friends account. Then when you confirm the trade, they do as well, and all your items are permanently lost.

it detected smth
the malwarebytes
You gotta do ALL the steps to be sure there's no one else accessing your account.

1. Scan for malware ... Your account is compromised.
https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey.
Never follow any instructions like that. You'll end up giving away your credentials to a phishing site or installing malware. Looks like you've done at least one here and your account was hijacked. Had you sent the skins then they would've been intercepted and stolen as a result. Make sure you report all accounts and groups involved.
