Emoticons don't work at Steam Boards

Emoticons don't work at Steam Boards. It appears equal which device i use(Steam deck or PC).

How can i use the emoticons here? When i try to use them, it do not work. The emoticon menu don't open.
But in the Friends Chat everything works normal with the emoticons.

How to fix that?

Try to reply to this post by clicking on the smiley face that appears to the left of the green publish button.
For it to appear, you need to type something first.
If it's still not showing up, it's probably a bug.
You can try restarting Steam completely, and if it persists, open a ticket with Valve support.

when i click the smiley face, it appears only a grey square.
I don't know why, but i have this since months.
And i tried a lot, also a restart of course, but thx.
Now i'll try a re-install. Maybe...

I had two persons with different names in the chat from the support ticket. So, i think not bots.
But who knows today. If bot or not nevertheless they where nice,lol.

At least they were nice, but it's a shame they couldn't solve a problem that seems simple.
