verifying my card needs a purchase?
steam is asking me to verify my age with a credit card, bare in mind I already have a credit card added on my account, but I tried to add the same card again to push the verification through and when I tried it said my payment was declined by the credit card company.. I'm not trying to make a purchase I'm just trying to verify my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ age. This new system is hilariously poorly made.

Yeah you gotta have at least £1 left on it for a verification transaction to go through. This does get returned to you after a few days though. I used a Vanquis card to do it and for some reason had to set up the whole app on my phone again just to authorize it, that's probably a problem on Vanquis' end though.

great... so now my steam discovery queue is stuck for at least 2 weeks because it won't let me skip the current game in the queue and despite me having sexual content as a filtered tag it still keeps sending me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ porn games and I don't get paid for a while. ♥♥♥♥ you Kier Starmer.

I have tried using two different cards, a credit and a debit to get the charge for verification. It says it does it, but it refuses to go through and there's nothing I can do.
