Hello!

My girlfriend's email as been hacked about a month ago and she changed all her passwords, but we did not play Steam games since. Now she tries to open her account with her email and the system indicates that there is no such account with this email.

I've tried to open a new account with her email adress and apparently Steam website was ready to let me open a new account with her email. Is it possible that the hackers managed to disconnect her account? Because without her email linked with her account, we find no way to reset the password and Steam support can't help with that.
