TLDR; Tried buying 2 games, no issues seemingly with them or anyone else buying them. Card apparently declines? Bank pending process saying it knows I spent it but cant communicate with Steam apparently to confirm, even on Steam there is no purchase history of this etc etc, blah blah blah. Usually this process is instant.

Got my friend from the other side of the planet to try and buy some different games, and the same exact error happened to him.

"Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.

Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again."

No idea what this is or why my bank is declining me and my friend. Neither of us are in the UK. Is this happening to anyone else?
