Was there an update that turned on making desktop icon for every game you install again?
Honestly I am not sure what caused the change. Was it an update or was it because I installed Steam on my laptop the other night?

Just checking, I know I can uncheck it in the install window but I never had to do that before that I recall.

New device (reinstall, new install) can reset that setting, yeah.

Ahh ok thank you. It did it with the sound notifications for installing a game too.
