As long as you're not just accepting friend requests from every rando and blindly clicking on links people share with you, don't fall for the "hey I have something important to talk to you about, friend me!" statements, show whatever you want on your profile.

But if you don't trust yourself, at least hide Inventory. That's what most scammers are wanting to get ahold of more than anything. It's the only part of your Steam account that would hold any profit for them.
