Linux user: not able to download screenshots from Steam account (desktop client)
Something changed because I've previously been able to download screenshots just fine. What is happening right now is the option to download the screenshot pops up I click it and it just disappears and nothing happens. If I try to do any of the other sharing options the same thing happens I click and select and the prompt disappears and does nothing.

Any idea what may be going on?

Thanks for this. I'm relatively new to Linux Mint.

I just tried inputting that file path in "Search For Files" and my computer couldn't find it. I think I may have a bigger issue. I wanted the exact file name of the game I'm trying to download the screenshots for. I went to my library, right clicked on the game, went to "manage", then browse local files and THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING. I click on "browse local files" and it rapidly disappears and does nothing.

I'm definitely having a client issue.
