Make dynamic libray, steam wil sort in them they already have tags on.

ps.
i did Dynamic only so i dont have to do sorting for games ever, i was tired of this everytime i bought games.

The diffent tags will reduce list problem is i cvant say it will be showed, but 3-4 diffrent view with separated tags might will, ( and NO i have not made all tag posssible. this is why.

To many tags with how to vierw you own collections.
https://store.steampowered.com/tag/browse/#global_492

I have 23 own tags collection that seem to cover my basic how i see them games in my livrary.. ( othre steam user might need more depend on there own view point. )

I will give you one example only

Hours played, require 2 tags hours from sub category and played,

rest you make is starit forward, 2D shooter and pixelated i think

Click next to home they windows look alike Icon
dude, i m still dont understand where to click, its client or browser
maybe some screenshot u have? :BITRAY_Mistrust:
You can click on Home in own HOME library and that next to it is collection.
i use both views ( depend on what you seek ) they can overlap each other

but collection do the sorting automatic on how you will view what you looking for as i said it make it simple for basic view first, ( because you need a simple rough sort before you do more dual filter, you will see what i ment the more you add the lesser you will see and thats also the problem. ( and you can still make a none dynamic lib, like a friend of mine use a police game with all of them untill somefday steam make a tags for them. ( problem here as you see they will go in 2D 3D topdown and acxtual is not show up because they will croos all others. now you know why more filter do not help always.

now i see whole librarry, not only installed games, but i still dont understand where i can type some tags like 2d or pixel:sadcube:
To many tags for me, only you can add them, you want that steam already accept as default tags and use them
https://store.steampowered.com/tag/browse/#global_492

Just wait to you get it to work and get better experience with them.
i bet yyou will be happy, 2000+ games andd make own standalone library is to much to sorting yourself.

When you create a collection, there's a section called "Store Tags" where you can start typing out user tags for games and select them from the list. This will add all the games you have in your library that has the associated tag to your new collection. ;)

Played and not played and not installled is part of the how your sorting will be seen example at a category like hours or other , and that why i tried to terll you add 2D in top of this will reduce the list alot. ( to many Filters and you end up with no games show at buttom on creating how steam see your current filters. ).

Example
2D, pixel and shooter,
That's the problem here do any show up at all in your games list, only you will know.
if we try to focus on the topic here.

I doubt you will go back after 2000 games and with so many categories today is not funny to make own library or sorting them.

Just wait to you buy new games, ( you need category's like not install yet and last added to steam or last played on date sorting ) as you see its matter of view point nothing else.

or played depend on the famous i chacked and test them and see they work.

it sound like a hazzle , but you forgot the none dynamic library issue , you have to do it yourself. so NO its not a hazzle. to adjust new ways to sort things autoimatic with steam tag system.

i dont even remember did i run that game on steam or green steam, i remember its shooter, but when i put 2d, pixel, shooter nothing happens

for example i see game 140 - its not shooter for sure, and arma not a 2d game
yeah, i sort some games but not 2000, just randomly get memories of that game and now try to find it
i try to tell you get 3 to 5 combinations view or more filters per view categories, its simple matter of reduce the right tags and if game had them.

i had under 10 very old games that dont fit steam original tags system, move them to where you think they belong.

i had might and magic mandate of heaven thets is seen as RPG games today, adventure game they are not. ( or rights tage was never made in the first place. ( ether way point was more like 10 games only sorting is easy to fix then, lets see them you are doing then you are donw with how your tags fit your game collection and how you will view them.

Well anyway i can only hope you trigger it, that start all of this , just like they other helpers already seem to knwo the issue you stand in find that one game among all the rest.

still require you remeber correctly. ( ofc you do ) but you know how it is then it not as you once think it was. ( been there donw that )

well anyway gl with Dynamic view, imo you should have use that along time ago IMO, most human will forget a title along the way in that many games list you had. special over longer time with steam many years.
