question about region modified games
my country is really strict when it comes to games not even adult games and they like to modify games content to their liking,
to my knowledge ps store does have these modified games
my question is does steam also have these modified games
if yes is there a way to counter this
i`m an adult and i`m the one who should decide what i want to play or not.

Yes, Steam has regional censoring. I'm trying to avoid this, but Humbebundle screwed me at some point:

[***] command> show-license 28000 You have 1 licenses related to 28000 ("Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days"): package 4713 ("Kane and Lynch 2 Retail DE") (ProofOfPrepurchaseOnly) purchased 2014-07-23 22:20:09 (ActivationCode) Game 28000 ("Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days") [***] command>

Note the "DE" at the end of the package name -- it indicates a specific package for Germany, containing a censored version of the game.

Unfortunately, I don't know whether or how SteamDB could tell me whether a non-censored package for a game would redeem here. Some keys do redeem, others are rejected. So, I'm not buying anything that has a censored package for Germany, just to be on the safe side.
