Recently, I’ve encountered a very frustrating issue while playing games and hope to get some help from everyone. When I continuously use the Steam screenshot function during gameplay, the game suddenly crashes. What’s more, this isn’t an issue with just one game—I’ve tried several games of different genres and from different developers, and most of them crash when I take consecutive screenshots. This has seriously disrupted my experience of capturing exciting in-game moments and messed up my normal gaming rhythm.

I’ve already tried some common troubleshooting steps. For example, I verified the integrity of the game files, but that didn’t fix the problem. I also updated my graphics card driver to the latest version to rule out compatibility issues caused by outdated drivers, yet the issue persists.

Does anyone know what’s causing this? Could it be a bug with the Steam screenshot function itself, or is there a problem with my settings? I sincerely hope to get an effective solution so I can enjoy taking screenshots while playing games.
