Spell Check stopped working?
When I misspell a word it will be underlined in red, like normal. But when I right click then click on the correct spelling the text doesn't change, it just stays misspelled.

Anyone else having this problem? Any way to fix it?

It's been broken for quite some time.

Yes it started happening 100% of the time a few days ago for me, before that it happened once in a while but restarting steam used to solve it.

I'm now disabled and rely on spell check to communicate else I'm spending a huge amount of time to just type a small paragraph so others can make out what I'm trying to get across.

Steam, please fix it.
It's been like that for a few months now. I'm not some functional illiterate zoomer that can't function without spellcheck, but it is a bit annoying.

Of course, even when it works, Steam thinks "sneaked" is a real word, and highlights the correct "snuck."

Literally from Merriam Webster:

Sneaked and snuck are today both common and standard. However, some people consider snuck inelegant or incorrect

Lies and slander. I blame Bush's No Child Left Behind.
still broke and its annoying
Yup, totally broken, can't even add correctly spelled words to the user dictionary on the right click.

Steam, could you please fix this to alleviate postings that look like a 3rd grader wrote them (in terms of spelling, not content).
If you're that bothered by it type your message out in another app that does have a working spell check then copy and paste it to the discussion.

Or they could just fix what they broke in a previous steam update. They certainly earn enough off the backs of hard working developers to keep the steam app working properly.
